Noaid is a Northern rock band built on strong melodies, dark beauty and emotional weight. Founded by songwriter and bassist Juha Granberg, Noaid brings together the distinctive voice of Horatiu Ghibu, the guitars of Mikko Suontausta, the keyboards of Felix Hildén and the powerful drumming of session drummer Samuli Pessala. Shaped by more than three decades of songwriting, Noaid creates atmospheric Northern rock where mythic moods, human emotion and cinematic scale meet. The name Noaid is inspired by the Sámi word noaidi — shaman.
