Noaid is a Northern Rock band whose music blends melodic intensity, emotional depth and the stark beauty of the North. Driven by songwriter and bassist Juha Granberg, Noaid crafts songs that explore the full spectrum of human relationships and life. The band features the distinctive voice of Horatiu Ghibu, the refined guitar work and arrangements of Mikko Suontausta, the expressive drumming of Samuli Pessala and the atmospheric piano & synth layers of Felix Hildén. Noaid is currently working on their debut album, shaping their identity as one of the rising voices in Northern Rock. The name Noaid is inspired by the Sámi word noaidi (shaman).
