NOAID is a Finnish-Romanian rock band featuring the distinctive voice of vocalist Horatiu Ghibu. The band is currently working on their debut album, which will likely be released in 2025 - 2026. We do music as a collaborative effort between songwriter, bass player Juha Granberg, guitarist Mikko Suontausta, vocalist Horatiu Ghibu, session drummer Samuli Pessala and keyboardist Felix Hildén. Some people have compared our music to bands like Amorphis, Kingston Wall, Poets of the Fall, Von Hertzen Brothers, HIM, and Suburban Tribe. We are flattered about that even though we believe our sound and style is unique. The name NOAID is inspired by the Sámi word noaidi (meaning witch).
